The first paragraph should have a general review of the topic followed by a reason why it is important to the readers and why the audience should care about the matter at all. And of course, the author must state the thesis statement.

Fourthly, each body paragraph should be focused on one general idea to avoid confusion. In conclusion, it can be said that this kind of essay not only gives information but also presents an argument with the supporting ideas and opposing ideas of an argumentative issue. The conclusion should not simply restate the introductory paragraph. If the conclusion says almost the exact same thing as the introduction, it may indicate that the writer has not done enough critical thinking during the course of the essay.
